Please join us in the Times Mirror room of the Natural History Museum at 7:30pm, Wednesday August 20 for a presentation on Lightroom by Erin Quigley. Erin is a digital imaging consultant specializing in customized workflows and editing strategies using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. She is an award-winning underwater photographer and video editor, and creator of GoAskErin.com, which provides custom tutorials and one-on-one instruction specifically developed for the underwater photographic community. We will also be treated to a presentation by Scott Gietler on his recent trip to Tahiti to photograph shark aggregations and spawning groupers! AUGUST MINICOMPS: This month's topic is "Shellfish" (stills and video). Please submit your entries using the upload form by 11:59pm Tuesday August 19. Please join us in the Times Mirror room of the Natural History Museum at 7:30pm, Wednesday July 16 for a presentation on travel medicine by Dr Tabby Stone. Tabby Stone, MD practices Pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Panorama City and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at USC. He developed an interest in diving medicine following his initial dive certification in 1979. He lectures to both divers and medical audiences on diving topics and was the author of the Medical Facts column in Discover Diving from 1988 to 1999. He is past President of the Pacific Chapter of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, and an avid underwater photographer. JULY MINICOMPS: This month's topics are "Color Abstract Patterns" (stills) and "Slow" (video). Please submit your entries using the upload form by 11:59pm Tuesday July 15.
