Please join us on Wednesday, September 19 at 7:30 pm, at the Natural History Museum (room TBD).

This month's speaker will be Bonnie Pelnar Dietz. Bonnie's made three trips to Cuba in the past several years for diving, bareboat sailing, and in search of the best Mojitos in Havana. She will talk about the diving options in different areas of the island, and will also bring you lots of info on the topside attractions that are not to be missed. She'll also give you tips on the best way to travel there and what not to do.

In addition to Cuba, Bonnie's traveled around the world to scout out new and fun underwater photography destinations. She has been the Dive Travel Specialist for Journey Pacific for the past four years and leads photo excursions about four times a year, and an intensive photo workshop in Cozumel for the past 17 years.

Her company, Under Watercolours, has been marketing the scuba and dive travel industry since 1996 and she has created over 150 custom websites for her clients - including laups.org!

She is also a fused glass artist, creating ocean-themed glass pieces at her home studio in Laguna Beach.
